100 100-4 Synagogue was built 1903. B'Nai israel Congregation moves into the temple from old building downtown. collegiate gothic 1919 fire 1925 fire breaks out but rebuilt called Jewish temple in some older photos

In 1980 faces dwindling attendance, congregation merges with Adath Israel, moving to synagogue on outer Washington Ave. The building is sold to Patchwork Central (founded 1977) shortly before it was destroyed by fire, except for the tower at left fire that started in bakery destroyed most of structure decided to rebuild newer commercial building built, but spared the tower as a monument to the past
