one of downtown evansvilles oldest commercial buildings commercial vernacular housed a drug store and tobacco store for many years circa 1865 double brick building is evansvilles oldest commercial facade w failing & co druggist 613 1879->1880 at turn of century seiffer family operated a restaurant in one half for nearly half the 20th century , william conner sold sewing machines and then books from the other half later dallas music
