COLORED Built by 1865 1867? state built black school corner of defunct wabash and erie canal (5th) and chestnut first shows in 1870-1 cd different rented buildings (not a physical school?) cannot find in sanborns, tied to alexander chapel?

used until 1873 when Governor St School was built (last appears in 1874 cd)

razed >1962 now welborn parking
