also known as the Businessmen's Association Building and the Mercantile Bank Building bought old assumption from catholic church shared an entrance to the grand designed by reid bros formerly the site of the first roman catholic church acquired by viele building also included grand opera house fronting on sycamore mercantile commercial bank (which merged with morris plan to form central union bank) razed in 1970s >1972 bma building later known as waverly place and later grein building (<1940 til razed) and the new opera house, later grand theater, located on corner of 2nd and sycamore, razed now parking garage for citizens bank
