Albert F Horn Box Factory (founded c1910) built 1912 relocated his box factory after a fire cigar box manufacturing

The company later became Atlas Box Co 1919 when taken over by son Bert Horn

A two-story brick addition was constructed in 1930 giving the building its "L" shape

Atlas Box was bought by Pennsylvania company Autokraft in January 1950. Operations relocated and the old building was leased out. fire? 1960s?

Superior Mattress Co to open 1960 Charles Pike purchased Superior Mattress and all its supplies and equipment from Waterbury CT in 1959. Pike relocated the entire factory to Evansville, IN in 1959 they founded Superior Mattress Co located at 201 Pennsylvania Ave in Evansville, IN. Opened 1/1/1960 Superior Mattress Company into the building in 1960

Superior closed its doors in 1989 and the building has since been used for various purposes.

It has been an auction house and a private club. building with eyes But sadly, the building has been abandoned about 3 years ago by the current owners. The neglect has lead to the roof collapsing and now the building is falling apart. razed nov 2016
